Nic Bezzina (b.1983) is an Australian-born portrait and documentary photographer, dividing his time between London and Sydney.
With a particular interest in sub-culture, community, collective experiences, and music, Bezzina endeavours to capture the intense energy and emotions within his photographic works. Motivated by in-depth research and personal projects, Bezzina actively delves into the lives of his subjects, striving to authentically portray their stories.
Bezzina has also been widely published, with work appearing in The New York Times, China Newsweek, The Guardian Weekend, National Geographic, and NME
Nic has won the PDN Music Moment and Monster Children photography competitions and has been a finalist in various photographic awards including Moran Contemporary Photography Prize, International Photography Awards, and the HeadOn Portrait Prize.
He has exhibited his work at various galleries in Sydney, London and Tokyo. Nic’s work is held in public and private collections including the State Library of NSW, City of Sydney Archives, National Museum of Australia and Libraries throughout Australia.
Clients include; Xbox, Booking.com, Nat Geo Traveller, The New York Times, Red Bull, Heinz, Warner Music, among others.
