Nic Bezzina is an Australian-born photographer and visual artist working across documentary-led brand storytelling, portraiture, and emerging AI-driven image making. He is currently based in London.

His work centres on people, subcultures, and shared experiences, often exploring how identity, community, and performance intersect — from music and nightlife to travel, sport, and everyday rituals. Whether photographing real-world environments or constructing cinematic worlds through AI, Bezzina’s approach is grounded in research, access, and emotional authenticity.

With a background spanning editorial and commercial work, Bezzina is known for gaining trust within closed or unfamiliar communities and translating that access into images that feel immediate, human, and lived-in. His recent practice increasingly blends traditional photography with generative tools, using AI not as spectacle but as a way to extend narrative, world-building, and pre-visualisation for brands and agencies.

Bezzina’s work has been published internationally by The New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian Weekend, China Newsweek, and NME, and he has been commissioned by clients including Booking.com, Xbox, Heinz, Red Bull, Warner Music, and Nat Geo Traveller.

He is the recipient of the PDN Music Moment and Monster Children photography awards and has been a finalist for the Moran Contemporary Photography Prize, BJP Portrait of Humanity, and the Head On Portrait Prize. His work has been exhibited in Sydney, London, and Tokyo, and is held in public and private collections including the State Library of NSW, City of Sydney Archives, and the National Museum of Australia.
